What is Sign Language?

Sign language is utmost frequently used language in deaf community. It is a language which talk with help of hands movements, body parts and facial expression. Indian Sign language is commonly used sign language among deaf people in India. In different parts of India it has different signs but grammar is same throughout the country.Similiarly in different states of India has different languages(for example in Maharashtra Marathi, In Gujrat Gujrati etc.., same way signs language has little difference in contradictory region.

What is Tinnitus?

Tinnitus is ringing in the ears when there is no actual sound around. If you have Tinnitus you will observe below condition

a) Do you hear a ringing, buzzing, roaring, clicking, or hissing sound in your ears even when no sound is present externally?

b) Do you hear this sound often or all the time?

c) Does the sound bother you a lot?

d) Don’t you get sleep at night? Or do you feel depressed in silent room?

What is hearing Loss?

Hearing loss is deafness one who has in his/her ears.

Hearing loss is measured by pure tone audiometry. (Average at 500, 1k, 2 kHz)

Hearing loss is categorized by its severity.

Mild Hearing loss

Speech is normal; conversation is easy; has difficulty hearing distant noises. 25 to 54 dB (decibel).

Moderate Hearing Loss

Speech is impaired; has difficulty hearing normal conversation. 55 to 69 dB
